Alex Blumenthal

Alex Blumenthal is an associate on the strategic communications team at Precision, where he works with nonprofits and advocacy organizations on integrated communications strategies and provides project management support. At Precision, he has led media outreach and messaging development for clients such as Galvanize Action and the Partnership for Basic Needs.

Before joining Precision, Alex worked at the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU), supporting operations, events, and communications for the Coalition of Urban Serving Universities. He interned at FINN Partners, where he supported public affairs and education clients with earned media placements in regional outlets across the country. Prior to that, he interned at the Democratic National Committee, where he focused on rapid response and media monitoring, and in the office of U.S. Senator Bob Casey.

Alex graduated summa cum laude with a degree in political communication from the University of South Carolina. A North Carolina native, he currently lives in Washington, D.C.
