Denise Horn is a strategic communications professional and political strategist who thrives at the intersection of corporate, political, and governmental communications.

Before joining Precision, Denise served as the senior director of inclusion marketing and communications at WarnerMedia. In this newly created role and division, she was responsible for developing an enterprise-wide diversity and inclusion narrative across networks. Before that, she was the director of corporate communications for Turner, a division of Time Warner, where she was responsible for managing corporate partnerships and overseeing strategy for executive leadership.

In 2016, Denise was tapped as the director of African American media on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign — serving as a national spokesperson, producing ads, developing messaging, and leading communications outreach to the Black community. She also developed and executed communication rollouts on presidential policy proposals, including investing in impoverished communities, college affordability, and criminal justice reform.

Prior to her time on the Clinton campaign, Denise worked at Facebook in Washington, D.C., where she was instrumental in developing the foundation of the platform’s political communications strategy. She also worked at the U.S. Department of Education as the Obama Administration’s chief spokesperson on higher education. In 2012, Denise served as the assistant traveling press aide for President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, affording her the opportunity to travel across the country to work with national and local reporters.

Denise began her career in communications in the highly competitive NBCUniversal Page Program where she worked on shows such as Mad Money with Jim Cramer and Dr. Oz. A New Jersey native, she graduated cum laude from Howard University with a bachelor of arts in journalism and earned her master’s degree in public policy at the University of Chicago.
