Jen Farber is a communications strategist with over two decades of experience working with corporations, candidates, and on causes that matter. She takes on challenges crafting strategies, messaging, and campaigns that change minds and spur action. 

At Precision, Jen provides results-driven communications counsel to clients and manages integrated campaigns. Previously, Jen served as a managing director at Firehouse Strategies where she led public affairs campaigns. Before joining Firehouse, Jen ran brand reputation management and policy advocacy campaigns at Purple Strategies for Fortune 100 companies and trade associations. Prior to that, she managed communications and advocacy campaigns on global health and development issues and provided strategic counsel to foundations, nonprofits and NGOs as a vice president at GMMB.

She also brings political experience. Jen was on the Obama media team in 2008 while at GMMB. She also worked on the media campaigns for senatorial, congressional, and gubernatorial races across the country. Jen served as a national press advance lead for John Kerry and worked on Howard Dean’s presidential campaign. Her love for campaigns was sparked in college when she interned for Al Gore’s campaign.

Jen graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude from the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs in Washington, D.C. She earned her bachelor’s in political communication.

She currently lives in Bethesda, Maryland with her family. When Jen’s offline, she’s most likely on the sidelines at her kids’ sports games or swim meets cheering them on.
