Karla Galvan is a senior associate on the mobilization and campaign management team at Precision. She is experienced in digital and distributed organizing for federal political campaigns. At Precision, Karla works with clients to conduct research for strategic plans to mobilize key stakeholders, and supports project management.

Prior to Precision, Karla was the digital organizing director for the Colorado Democratic Party’s coordinated campaign to elect Joe Biden and John Hickenlooper. In that role, she oversaw a groundbreaking statewide distributed voter contact program that resulted in nearly 5.6 million texts sent by over 2,500 trained volunteers. She was also on the mobilization team for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign in Iowa and Colorado, where she managed in-state digital voter contact programs. In 2018, Karla was a part of the team behind the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s unprecedented $30 million investment in base voter engagement and turnout that resulted in Democrats flipping the most seats from red to blue since 1974. She also worked at the DC-based media firm 76 Words, where she helped produce TV ads for progressive candidates, ballot initiatives, and independent expenditures.

Karla graduated with a bachelor’s degree in political science from California State University, Long Beach.
