Luis Botello Faz

Luis Botello Faz is a communications strategist with extensive experience leading high-profile public affairs, media relations, and campaign operations across public office, federal agencies and political campaigns.

At Precision, Luis focuses on developing and executing comprehensive strategic communications plans that help clients navigate complex media landscapes, manage reputation risks and engage diverse audiences. Before joining Precision, Luis served as communications director for U.S. Representative Lloyd Doggett, where he directed the member’s media strategy, managed national and regional press relations, and crafted messaging transforming complex legislative policy into impactful talking points. 

Prior to his time on Capitol Hill, Luis was a communications manager at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, playing a key role in the agency’s strategic communications, including managing media and stakeholder engagement for diplomatic missions to South America and Mexico. He also has a deep background in strategic campaign operations, having led field and regional communications efforts for multiple political campaigns across Texas, North Carolina, Colorado, Georgia and New York. 

Luis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
