Manuela Luque is a senior associate on the data and analytics team with prior academic research experience in women’s rights policy and Supreme Court precedent and history.
At Precision, Manuela supports her team by providing up-to-date data analytics and social media monitoring, as well as landscape tracking for all clients. She engages with advocacy, political, nonprofit, and corporate clients. She also supports the team with project management.
Prior to joining Precision, Manuela worked mainly on academic research initiatives and completed a master’s thesis in political science titled “Access to Abortion: The ‘Undue Burden’ Standard Across Florida.” Manuela, a Floridian, chose her home state as a case study and was awarded best masters thesis poster at commencement.
Manuela graduated with both a bachelor of arts and master of arts degrees in political science from Boston University where she was awarded membership in the Pi Sigma Alpha honor society. While at BU, she was student manager of the Dean of Students department, where she handled most school-wide projects and events held by the department and managed a staff of over 30 undergraduate students. Manuela was also elected President of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and the Peds Project, a volunteer organization whose mission is to brighten the lives of terminally ill children in the greater Boston area. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
