Melissa Hevener is a senior associate on Precision’s digital team, where she creates content and helps implement digital strategy for a range of advocacy, corporate, and political clients.
At Precision, Melissa is focused on producing digital content to help her clients lift priority issues. She regularly assists with writing digital content for social media and crafting digital advertising campaigns, along with leading project management and supporting creative strategy for her teams.
Prior to joining Precision full-time, Melissa was a digital strategy intern at Precision. As an intern, she worked with clients including Families Belong Together, the Independent Restaurant Coalition, and the National Domestic Workers Alliance to craft regular social media content and support a variety of advocacy and mobilization campaigns to reach diverse audiences. Before Precision, Melissa was a Tieger Fellow at the University of Georgia and a digital marketing intern for an Atlanta-based start-up.
Melissa graduated with a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, where she studied public relations, political science, and public affairs communication. While in college, she served as the student body vice president and was one of 16 orientation leaders. Melissa was raised in the Philippines and currently lives in Washington, D.C.
