Tim Rice is a corporate communications strategist with more than 15 years of agency and in-house communications experience.

At Precision, Tim provides senior counsel to consumer and corporate clients. His areas of expertise include corporate reputation, executive thought leadership and visibility, strategic media relations, crisis and issues management, and headline risk mitigation.

Before joining Precision, Tim was an executive vice president, managing director with Burson, Cohn & Wolfe (BCW). He has spent the past decade providing counsel to some of the largest and most recognizable financial services organizations in the world. In his time with BCW, Tim led numerous award-winning public relations programs and campaigns. In 2017, his team was recognized with a PRWeek Award in Corporate Branding, and a PRSA Silver Anvil in Integrated Consumer Communications, for work in positioning a leading bank as an innovative and forward-thinking tech leader. In 2019, Tim was featured in PRWeek’s annual 40 under 40 list recognizing the industry’s future leaders.

Prior to his time at BCW, Tim worked at PNC Financial Services Group overseeing various consumer and corporate media relations programs as the bank worked to emerge from the 2008-2009 financial crisis. In that role, he served as day-to-day communications lead and external spokesperson for several divisions of the organization.

Tim graduated from The University at Albany in Albany, NY with a bachelor’s degree in communications and rhetoric. He lives with his wife and two kids in Pittsburgh, PA.
