Precision announced today that it has hired Tom Reno as its Chief Operating Officer. Reno, the former Chief Operating Officer of Burson, Cohn and Wolfe, will help manage Precision’s operations and maximize its growth as the company continues its unmatched work for Fortune 500 corporations, startups, organizations, campaigns, and causes.
Precision is an integrated strategy and marketing agency that brings world-class experts in each of its practice areas — communications, digital, data, advertising, and mobilization — together for clients to create and manage campaigns that change people’s minds and move them to action.
With offices in New York, N.Y. and Washington, D.C., Precision was founded in 2013 by Stephanie Cutter, Jen O’Malley Dillon and Teddy Goff who, as architects of President Barack Obama’s election in 2008 and reelection in 2012, pioneered the politics of precision, building and leading unprecedented campaigns to understand, reach, and mobilize millions of Americans.
Precision’s clients span a variety of sectors, with concentration in Finance & Corporate, Health Care, Technology, Sports & Entertainment, and Campaigns & Nonprofits. Reno has worked in the communications industry for more than 25 years. Most recently, he was the COO of Burson Cohn & Wolfe (BCW) where he played a key role in the integration of WPP agencies Cohn & Wolfe and Burson-Marsteller. Prior to BCW, he was the long-time COO and CFO for entertainment powerhouse 42West, and the CEO and Managing Partner of Solebury Communications. He also held leadership roles at global agencies Hill & Knowlton, Ogilvy PR and GCI Group. Tom will be based out of Precision’s New York office.
