Liz Brown is a Principal on the communications team at Precision where she helps campaigns, advocacy groups, and corporate clients tell their stories and enact change.

Prior to joining Precision, Liz served as the Deputy Campaign Manager on Lt. Governor Molly Gray’s congressional campaign in her home state of Vermont. In this role, she managed the finance and scheduling teams, built a robust communications strategy, and oversaw the launch of the campaign in the most expensive and competitive primary in Vermont history. During the 2020 election cycle, Liz worked for Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer in Iowa as her Finance Assistant and was part of a team that raised over $6 million in one of the most competitive Congressional races that year.

Liz got her start in politics with internships in the offices of Senator Bernie Sanders and Kirsten Gillibrand. In college, she interned on Senator Claire McCaskill’s re-election campaign in Missouri during the 2018 election cycle and at Precision the following year. Liz is also a proud alum of the EMILY’s List Ignite Change Fellowship, a national intensive program focused on training women to run for office.

Liz graduated from Mount Holyoke College with a degree in Political Science. She is originally from Burlington, Vermont and currently resides in Washington D.C.
