Julia Watts is an organizer and campaign strategist with more than ten years of experience at the intersection of politics, policy, and corporate social responsibility.

At Precision, Julia has focused on helping nonprofit, political, and corporate clients build and run strategic advocacy and communication campaigns on issues ranging from workforce development to investor relations and raising the minimum wage. She has worked with clients across industries and sectors to design community engagement programs, build coalitions and strategic partnerships, and run winning ballot campaigns.

Before joining Precision, she was the associate director of policy and campaigns with the American Sustainable Business Council where she led business organizing efforts and directed the High Road Workplace Project, a campaign championing responsible workplace policies. She also served as the advocacy and mobilization manager for the nation’s largest network of human services providers, where she managed campaigns related to child welfare and tax policy.

Julia is an AmeriCorps alumna. She holds a master’s degree in public administration from the George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently lives in Washington, D.C.
