Karly Scholz is an associate on the digital team who believes that resonant storytelling can drive real-world change.

At Precision, she supports advocacy organizations, philanthropic foundations, and technology companies working across issue areas including economic justice, education access, and the energy sector. Across all of her projects, she contributes digital copy and strategy that help clients communicate clearly and mobilize their audiences effectively.

Karly has spent the past eight years working with gun violence prevention organizations, including as an inaugural member of the Project Unloaded Youth Council, where she helped shape cultural campaigns that told fact-based stories about gun safety. She first joined Precision as a digital intern before joining full-time.

Karly graduated with Highest Distinction from the University of Virginia, where she earned degrees inhistory and media studies, and a minor in economics. While at UVA, she served on the Board of Advisors for the Karsh Institute of Democracy, working to elevate student perspectives in the Institute’s civic engagement programming.

Originally from Madison, Wisconsin, Karly is now based in Washington, D.C.
