Kelvin Lai is the finance director at Precision. He has over a decade of corporate financial and accounting experience within the creative industry.
At Precision, Kelvin oversees the finance team and leads the agency’s key finance and accounting functions. In addition to providing insights through meaningful analysis of metrics and figures, Kelvin also partners closely with the agency’s entire operations team in maximizing the agency’s operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Prior to joining Precision, Kelvin was the director of finance for the branding agency Carbone Smolan Agency, where he headed the agency’s financial, accounting, and operations functions. While at Carbone Smolan Agency, Kelvin served as a key member of the leadership team and established many processes and tracking mechanisms that helped to inform and empower the chief executive in their decision-making process. Kelvin also served as the finance manager at the influential talent agency Camilla Lowther Management and production powerhouse Williams Lea Tag, where he worked closely with some of the world’s best creative talent and was able to convey complex financial ideas in simple, distilled form.
Kelvin holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boston University School of Business and currently resides in Lower Manhattan.
