Laura Gaffey

Laura Gaffey is the deputy chief operations officer at Precision and has deep experience in operations for companies, advocacy groups, and campaigns.
At Precision, Laura works on the operations team keeping the firm running smoothly, from managing the budget to contracts to office moves. Laura has helped grow and expand the company’s operations function as Precision has more than doubled in size. In addition to focusing on the operations of Precision itself, Laura has worked on a range of client projects at Precision, including working with advocacy organizations and campaigns to develop budgets that reflect their strategic priorities.
Before joining Precision, Laura worked at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee during the 2014 cycle. Laura managed the field program’s budget, spanning 10 states. Previously, Laura worked as a compliance assistant on U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar’s 2012 re-election campaign in her home state of Minnesota.
Laura is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University and is currently based in California.
