Rich Luchette is a communications strategist and crisis expert with more than a decade of experience working at the highest levels of government and political campaigns.

At Precision, Rich works with political, non-profit, and corporate clients to design and execute strategic communications plans that achieve measurable objectives, promote brand awareness, and communicate clearly and succinctly to target audiences.

Prior to joining Precision, Rich served as senior adviser to Congressman David Cicilline during the Congressman’s time as Chairman of the House Antitrust Subcommittee and head of the Democratic Policy and Communications Committee, which was responsible for crafting the For The People messaging and policy agenda that was widely credited for helping Democrats retake the House in 2018.

As Congressman Cicilline’s point person on communications, Rich led a team tasked with articulating the Congressman’s efforts leading some of the biggest political battles of our time. These efforts included Congressman Cicilline’s work to organize the 2016 sit-in on the House floor demanding action on gun violence, oversee a historic investigation into the state of competition in online markets, and contribute to the articles of impeachment that the House passed to remove President Donald Trump in 2021. In addition to his work for Congressman Cicilline, Rich has also served as a strategic adviser to Democratic candidates for governor in Ohio and Illinois.

Rich graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in government from Georgetown University. He lives in Washington, D.C.
